I Hate Writing Articles!

If you hate writing articles, owning your own website can be particularly challenging. The whole point of a content-based website is, well, content. In fact, not only is it recommended that you frequently add to the content of your site, but that you write articles for article directories in order to draw traffic to your site. But if you hate writing articles, if you find the whole concept of spending hours researching and writing tedious and tiring, how can you fill your readers’ thirst for information?

This article offers four solutions to this dilemma.

1) Free article directories. Writers all over the internet contribute articles to free article directories and are compensated only with a link back to their website – and therein lies the problem. If the visitors you attract to your website are particularly impressed with someone else’s writing, they will quickly click away from your site.

2) Public domain articles. There are articles available in the public domain that can be used on your site without the necessity of linking to another site. Some authors are not worried about copyrighting their work, and make it available in the public domain. These articles save a lot of research time, and avoid the need to pay someone else to write for you. Remember that your competitors have access to the very same articles. Take the time to make them unique.

3) Private label rights articles. These articles can be purchased, or sometimes obtained free. They help shorten time required for research. Time must be spent making the articles unique, but PLR articles are great catalysts if one of the reasons you hate writing articles is that you have trouble coming up with ideas. Not all PLR articles are created equal. If you're looking for articles that are very well researched and written to begin with, check out All Private Label Content.

4) Outsourcing. If you are not limited by finances, writers can be hired at a reasonable cost from sites such as http://elance.com Writers can also be solicited in discussion forums such as the Warrior Forum.

These are a few ideas of ways to create content when you dislike article writing. However, sometimes people dislike things just because they haven’t yet developed proficiency in that area. You may find if you set a goal to write one article a day, or a certain number a week, that just in developing the discipline to set that goal, article writing will become easier.

Also, if you are not particularly proud of your early efforts, you can submit these articles to directories under a pen name, and still get a back link to your site.

Basically, if you are a website owner, you have to bite the bullet and create articles, whether you write them yourself, outsource, or use one of the other methods described above. As with anything else, the more you practice, the better you’ll get.
